No Elec Power

Asked by Smokey7072 Aug 20, 2019 at 07:33 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had to change the alternator. The friend doing it did not remove ground from
battery. After install the tahoe has no lights, dinging or any signs of electric
being distributed to anything. He did say one of the wires sparked while
removing old alt. What should I look for that may have blown? I assume some
kind of fuse when the wire shorted out?

Found out it was the 175a fuse at the firewall close to the battery
