2006 subaru baja sport needs engine

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am told that the 2006 would have to have ej251 engine only. Having a hard
time finding one is there another option? I'm a newbie.

Don't try using an EJ engine with the variable valve timing unless that is what you have now.

these guys are ****ing Idiots, They didnt answer the question and gave a personal opinion...Subaruguru is not a subaru guru or he would have stated the ONLY INTERCHANGEABLE parts for the 05 and 06 Baja engine is from an 04 legacy outback
