Motor out of oil

Rock busted oil pan and oil drained out will the motor shut off before it blog's
up or will it shut off by sensors first?

Absolutely do not start it or drive it until there is oil in it or you will fry the engine.

It will keep running until it Seizes up and that will be the end of your engine.
