Question type: Car Customization

I have a  2000 sl1 and need more power. I want to
race it and want to know what motor I can put in it
if there is one that wouldn't to difficult

Put a cage in it first then worry about the motor, at least if you want to race it for real and not just drive like an idiot on the roads.

Well I plan on putting a cage before the motor but do you know what motors are good for this car?

This guy managed to get an LS4 in an SL1, lol: http://www.engineswapdepot.com/?p=9312 , but if you plan on racing it, which I assume you mean at the track, you really want a cage in there and a good rear suspension, when you make a lot of power it can twist a little unibody and you'll go straight into the wall when pulling off the line.
