To change rings on a 98 1.9L SOHC do you have to pull to engine?

Burns 1 qt of oil every 300 miles.  Need to change rings.  Do I have to pull the engine or can I drop the oil pan and pull the pistons out from the top?

Am yes BY seeing this took it to A shop lol Save some money You have to took that hollew moter down to the bur blonk to change the rings
