Backup Lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, my backup lights haven't been working for a while, I purchased some
LED lights a year ago, and this whole time I just assumed that my backup
light switch went out. I went to replace my brake lights and I got curious, I put
the car in Reverse and checked to see if maybe, just maybe I didn't put
them on correctly after all this time. I did, and I noticed that the LED's are lit
up just every so slightly, I sent an Email to see if they had a warranty but
even with the lights that came with the car when I purchased it, they didn't
light up. Could there be something wrong with the wiring, the backup light
switch, or the lights, or something I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!
