Clicking noise when fan turned on

Asked by GuruYCH2G Mar 07, 2018 at 01:13 PM about the 1998 Saturn S-Series 2 Dr SC2 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the fan on, a loud double click is
heard to the left of the glove box. The
double click is heard about every 30
seconds. When I press the recycle switch in,
the sound is only one soft click. Fan speed
low or high doesn't matter.
