Is there a hard plastic hose going to the pcv valve on a 97 SL1 Saturn?

According to the tag under the hood, it shows where the pcv is but there is a hard tube running to it.
Do I need special tools?

There is a hose that goes from the PCV valve to the intake manifold so vacuum goes through it. What you have is a hose that has hardened with age. You will end up breaking it on removal. Replacing the hose and the pcv valve is not not big money.
