My car will not move in any gear but the motor
runs fine

Check transmission linkage to make sure it didn't come off.

Well I out a new motor in it cuz the old one went badand the tranny work fine when I put it in the shop to do it and the linkage is hooked up on the outside I bought a new safety switch for it and put new fluid in it

Well I was told to check it with a voltage meter and to put the car in drive and to move it till the meter made a sound than to tighten it down and it would be good so tbh I am lost on this car
