1996 saturn sl1 automatic, ac, power windows

I just changed the h2o pump and thermostat in my 1996
saturn sl1 everyrhing is installed right but it keeps
overheating when i open the rad cap its always bubbling
cant tell if its circulating that well but the temp is up and
down the overheats, not sure why? And does anyone know
where this sensor goes and what its called

Might be your fan not working or the coil in middle of fan the name of it ,it engages the fan. If it's not electric
