Hello, Rather than trying to get at the broken latch yourself, I would recommend bringing it to a service station which has a tow truck. The truck drivers will usually have a slim jim which they can use to open such doors. Once open, you can try to replace the latch yourself or leave it with the resident mechanic to finish the job. AAA is also an excellent resource for this type of problem if you are a member. Best of luck! CarGrrl

I agree with the previous statement about taking it in to a mechanic. Messing with the rods that run the door latches is tricky
