I am in need of replacing the fuel pump module assembly on a 2002 Saturn L100. If I decide to purchase one without the sending unit and use the sending unit currently on the pump assembly I have now, will that entail difficult labor to do?

Not too difficult to reuse the old sending unit but there is a greater chance of failure by keeping the older part.
