will a 2006 2.2L engine swap with a 2001 2.2L saturn engine?

need to find out if i can put a 2006 saturn ion 2.2L engine in my 2001 saturn 2.2L sedan,without changing the computer or anything else?

A call to a salvage yard could save you time and really big head ache alot of engines look the same outside internal components,added or removed depending on the trim level can make this type of swap very time consuming,and very spendy,google has this info avail as well. Usually 3years is workable,but w all cookie cutter cars out there you may be in luck. Hope that helps.
