I have a 2000 LW series Saturn wagon 3.0 motor I'm having trouble getting it to start back after I've been running it a while what is the most probable cause

If it does fire, rev up, and then die when hot, I'm thinking it is related to either the ECT sensor or IAT sensor. Otherwise I would try some starter fluid. After that listen to see if you hear the fuel pump prime when the key is turned to run position just before you start the engine. If not it could be the fuel pump but I've heard that people have had the relay die in theirs. Its worth swapping relays first before you try to replace the pump.
