why would my stick shift all of the sudden not come out of gear

I have as 2007 Chrysler 300 touring sedan---I did also take to dealership 2 weeks ago to fix driver side airbag for the recall----would that do anything to pushing bag into place and maybe pitch some wires behind it? or maybe pull a wire out of place?

I would contact them to tell them it know has this issue after their recall repair and that it was fine before they took the column apart.
