Asked by Meagan Apr 10, 2016 at 04:01 PM about the 2006 Kia Spectra EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Kia Spectra's electrical system went wacky and then crashed after a frost, blinkers wouldn't work and tail lights wouldn't go off: blowermotor was "hotwired" no control togel so it was always on, car is now dead.

Meagan, if the blower motor was hot wired an if it wasn't hooked to a toggle switch then it should have been unhooked every time you shut the motor off. So now you have a dead battery!

An another thing you need to check your fuses to see if there burnt. I would say some of them are. Because of the hot wiring!
