Not shifting into 4x4

I just picked up a use sorento for my daughter.  It's
an 06 lx, 5spd 4x4 with 87k on it.  We just had a big
snow storm and the 4x4 wouldn't engage. It made
to noises or weird sounds.  Just doesn't engage?

take it back were you bought it, they should stand behind it. (if it was a dealer)
