how do I put my 2006 Kia Sorento into 4 whell drive
Do I have to be in park or neutral to put my vehichle into 4 wheel drive? I have a 2006 Kia and I just can't seem to get the hang of it. The light comes on that says I am in 4 wheel drive but it isn't , what am I doing wrong? Please help!

Have to put mine in neutral, turn button to 4 wheel hi or low, let it roll back just a tad, the icon should come up on your dash and you should be set. If not put in reverse and just idle back a tad. Works with mine.
I push in my clutch turn the four wheel drive into the high or low position and let the clutch out slowly you can feel it drop in.. it should light up to say that your in what ever four wheel drive you've set it
Well u must have it in neutral and your foot on brake then turn nob but i do that i feel the lowed gear seating but front tiers wont spend so if any one can help me let me no asap because i work on mudy job sites and need it almost daily think you
