Kia rio 2006 engine light

I have a kia rio 2006 with 70k miles..a few weeks
ago the engine light turned on and autozone
checked the code as po420 (catalyst system) 4
days later the light turned off ...I don't feel any
difference on the car as I drive but after a week the  
light turned on again.
Any suggestions?

sensor after catalytic going bad, or time to look for a replacement cat
