Spark Shortages Cadillac CTS 2007

Asked by Aug 18, 2019 at 08:02 AM about the 2007 Cadillac CTS 2.8L RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Cadillac CTS recently has shortage on the
positive battery post sparks when I connect, New
battery new alternator, the positive (alternator) wire
has 200 amp connector fuse on it wonder if I need
a 250 amp fuse on it? Could this be a ECM/ PCM
problem? I've also added extra ground to the
chassis and the motor. Any help greatly
appreciated as I'm puzzled.
