On a 96 lumina 3.1 how do you check a coilpack to see if it is good?

Also had ignition module checked and had cranksensor replaced-7x. Have intermittent starting problems.

It takes two people but, when it dies/won't start you can pull both wires off any single coil pack, crank the engine while you or your helper looks for spark between the towers. A better method is using an in-line spark check adapter (or test plug) but that's a quick and dirty check. --- The Grand Am's use the same engines and coils. You might find some answers over at GAOwnersClub.com

I put a ICM ICM control monitor in I put a fuel pump line on I put a fuel filter line and the line is leaking just a little bit I put a alternator on I put a radiator in and I put a new starter on can you tell me I have a meter can you tell me what I need to check for to see where they want to start

I have I have 246,000 miles on the car but I did check the transmission and they said the transmission is it's okay but could that style cut down timing chain or even the core pack could it be going out can you tell me how I can check the coil pack
