ANY PROBLEMS WITH POWER PASSENGER SEAT SWITCH DRAINING BATTER?

Asked by cjones6 Jan 01, 2015 at 11:04 AM about the 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Extended Cab 6.5 ft. 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to jump my truck off several times and since the battery was 5 years I replaced. After putting new battery in 2 days later had to jump off again. Sears told me that something was drawing the battery down. I carried to GM dealership and the did a diagnostic check over a 3 day period and they have said the passenger powered heated seat switch was drawing the battery down. $465.00 to replace swith

Since having the passenger powered seat switch replaced this corrected the problem.

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Z71 that now has a rattle in the steering column. Anyone know what this is? Thanks
