my fuel pump went out do you need to drop tank to change fuel pump

There are three ways...drop the fuel tank, lift the bed up, or cut a hole in the bed (That one personally I would not do) http://www.ehow.com/how_4506111_replace-fuel-pump-gmc-sierra.html

Hi TST we did it again...I was off looking for alternatives to dropping the tank and your post was not there. But after looking at 3 videos your answer really is the best. Dropping the tank is easier than taking the bed off, the tank must be drained anyway

Good morning FN,yes,it is the easest,to drop the tank,just like you said ,remove the fuel make,s it a lot eaiser.
