96 chevy express 3500 air bag light coming on randolmly

I have a 96 Chevy Express Cube Van and recently the air bag light has been
coming on and staying on for a week or so then going out for a while.
Any suggestions?

this could be a simply a poor connection, find all the airbages and just push the connections together and make sure they are home, best do this with the battery disconnected after 15 mins or so to prevent an explosion within the airbag itself
