no fuel from gas tank with switch on or trying to crank

Check for fuel pump power and ground at the fuel pump assembly, if you have both of those then you have a bad fuel pump, if no power, then check for a bad fuel pump relay and broken power wiring. Note if it is the fuel pump make sure you replace the relay and the filter or they might not honor the pump warranty if it goes away.
