My car has been sitting for 7months, what is
the proper starting method

JS had good answers. I have had some of my collection sit for a year and all I did was remove plugs, spin engine over a bit and then put the plugs back in and start it. I did keep battery tenders on them and had Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders.
