car does not respond to transmitter key, boot suddenly open while driving

Asked by GuruPY7XS Jan 16, 2020 at 02:59 AM about the 2005 Jaguar S-TYPE 3.0L V6 RWD

Car responded when I unlock from transmitter key. I got in,  inserted the key
to ignition and started the car, drove and reached destination and turned key
to off to stop car,  removed key from ignition but reinserted it while on park
stayed inside for 30 min. Then remove key and went out. Push lock button
on transmitter key, car did not respond. inserted key on outside driver side
turned key to lock , car responded locked all doors.  Driving back home boot
suddenly opened while driving.  car no longer respond to transmitter key.
