New Intake Throwing Codes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought a new intake system online, installed it and it sounded great and no
codes. After the third start up threw the code that the system was running too
lean. Put the old system and code went away, was wondering if there was a
way to change the computer so that the idle doesn't run so rough and so it
stops running codes?

The EGR riser hose has a hole in it so once I replace it and put the new intake back on do you think it will fix it? I have the original intake on and it runs fine and no codes. So once I get the new EGR hose do you think it will fix it?

Wasn't the MAF sensor just actually had that replaced the only difference between the air take system is the size of the pipe up to the throttle body is a lot bigger.

Alright everything works! replaced that EGR hose and put the new system back on and no codes! The engine at idle runs a little rough is there any remedy for that? Thanks!
