Car cranks but wont start, clicking noise coming from dash

hello, had a question. i have a 96 camaro v6 and when i put the key in the ON position i
get a clicking noise in the dash. usually when i jump start it this noise will stop then it will
start. but this morning i tried jump starting it for a long time and the noise wont stop and
the car will not start. I tested the battery and they said it was bad but it seems to be
cranking the motor good. any ideas

If they did a load test on the battery and it showed up less than 9 volts then it is bad. sometimes they will still start the car, but it sounds like yours is bad. It wouldn't hurt to have the alternator tested after you have that new battery too.
