1992 Buick Roadmaster 5.7 liter v8 loss of power and almost stall

I own a 1992 Buick Roadmaster 5.7 liter v8 I was
driving home exited the freeway got a half way
down the road when my car all the sudden died I
removed the intake and the air filter and started it
and it started fine I reassembled the breather and
put the intake back on when revved in park it seem
to be fine but when I would put it in gear and give it
a good amount of guys it acted like it wanted to
stall and there was no power at all but when I
would lightly press the pedal it would accelerate
fine the moment I floor it it would try to stall and
there's a complete lack of power going off
common knowledge I assumed it was the fuel filter
which I replaced nothing changed so then I replace
the fuel pump and I'm still having the same
problem what do you think it could be it sounds
like something to do with the air to fuel mixture

AND THE FUEL PRESSURE AT THE HEAD IS WHAT???

Fuel pressure should be checked. I would also look at the timing. If your chain is worn enough and it slipped over one tooth the car could also act this way.
I have had a similar issue with my 92 sedan. I would look into the electrical systems, specifically distribution and ground connections.
Did you ever find the culprit? My '92 wagon is doing the exact same thing
Its more then likely your coolant temperature gauge,the harness too the coolant temp gauge ,the map sensor or the idle oxegen sensor. I had struggled with this issue for 6 months to find out its a commen issue and was the coolant temp connector and throttle position sensor combination .

Fuel Gage reads way above full and should have about a quarter tank
rev limiter ,, check park neutral switch..just had same proble , unhood speedo wires at trans tail shaft and diver it
any updates? I have a 93 roadmaster estate wagon 5.7 doing same thing. ive chanced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor, coil, map sensor, egr, throttle body gasket, speed sensor, coolant sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump and stil doing same thing
