1996 Roadmaster makes a crunching noise when I put it in reverse. But not all the time. Seems it does it more when I'm turning while backing. .

The mechanic took the cover off and found nothing. He said he checked the brakes. The car does not crunc when moinf forward.  Please help.

maybe its a transmission or engine mount?
