my 95 riviera load levelers go up and stay up causing handling problems. the previous owner disconected the compressor i just installed new are shocks and want to get the system up and running again , can i put a switch on the compressor and use it ?

There is a "sensor" on the rear that controls the height It will be a box with some wires going to it and there will be a metal link attached to the rear lower "A" arm The link could be broken or the controller box could be defective. GM probably used the same controller box on all its cars so you can probably find a used controller in a pick-n-pull.
