The ac does not work, the control on the inside
blinks dashes and the ac does not turn off if the

Help me to better understand. Initially you say the a/c doesn't work. Is this due to low Freon or the compressor isnt engaging at all? You also say the control button blinks, which may be due to a faulty control panel. Which would also could be the reason, you can't turn off your a/c. And the reason hot air is being omitted from the vents.. review my first paragraph. I suggest finding a replacement control panel..salvage yard. And also putting Freon into the unit. Good Luck
