03 Buick Rendezvous cx won't start if below -5°c outside.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

03 Buick Rendezvous cx won't start if below -5°c outside. Got it towed to a
gm dealership and they dropped the fuel tank and verified the fuel pump is
working correctly, checked spark plugs/wires (good), checked injectors
(good), replaced the crank sensor, and conducted a compression/leak down
test (passed). Sadly, it was a warm day when I brought it in so they thought
they had solved the problem but now it cranks but will not start. While I don't
have a fuel pressure gauge, I can hear the fuel pump priming and can hear
the injectors clicking while cranking. I've also verified it has spark with a
spark tester and compression sounds good when it won't start. To me it
seems like the car should be able to start. Is there any other checks or
something I should replace to diagnose this problem? I paid $700 basically
for nothing so I'm looking for some kind of lead to avoid going to the
dealership again. Thanks.

Do you have a block heater? You may also want a battery heater on those sub zero mornings.

all I can add is that the airfuel mix should be at a certain % , on cold starts it has to be more concentrated along with the spark ie. dodge ballast resistor , are the plugs gaped at something ridiculous ? These guys dropped the tank to verify fuel pressure ? they're the ones that should be dropped . Buick"s always made a good car , maybe find a technician instead of a bootlicker
