Buick rendezvous 04 hot coolant temp light on

My car doesn’t accelerate whenever the hot coolant
temp light appears. Also, my check engine light is
on. If I slow down it vibrates and then stays at the
speed or between 20-40 mph. I was due for an oil
change, got that done and it still says check engine
and hot coolant temp.
