Car Jerking

My car is at about 114,000 miles. It's beginning to
jerk while driving, on the highway &  city. I had an
oil change recently & a tune up back in August. The  
"Service Engine Soon" has been coming on & going
off lately. Does it have anything to do with needing
a tuneup or the car jerking; why is it jerking if not?

Get the codes read and get back to us. A parts store or mechanic can read the codes or you can buy a code reader.
