96 Blazer Fuel Line
I have a 96 Blazer 4door 4WD. I replaced the fuel lines from the tank to the fuel filter to try to stop a leak. It ran well for a week or two, but the line from the fuel filter to the engine started leaking. I've looked all over the internet and at local parts houses, but nobody has a direct fit replacement. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Or any suitable replacement?
You could try a wrecking yard, that's about as close as you can get for direct replacement. You may have to manufacture it yourself, you can use metal brake line or even copper tubing as both will stand the pressures but you need to know what your doing. Or you could let a good independent shop make one up, but it's not cheap.
Would the fuel system/lines be the same for a 97 Blazer? Cause I can find loads of lines for a 97 online, and it's the same motor, trans, and body. Shouldn't I just be able to buy the lines for the 97 and have those work?
Yes they should work, it looks like the same body style.
I have 2 1996 S -- 10 Blazer's.... I may be taking the tranny out of one of them for my other one, than I'm junking the one I'm taking the tranny out of.... So I do have a parts blazer.....
Linestogo or rockauto? Just ordered both '99 fuel lines for $180.
