1996 chevy blazer 4.3L 4door 4x4 v6 vortec

My 96 Chevy blazer passed emmissions and
we drove everywhere then bam we are
leaving grocery store and r blazer turns over
but will not start. So I replaced the fuel filter
because I could hear the fuel pump
pressurizes the tank and well the blazer will
turn over but again will not start. So I put a
hose from tank to fuel filter and yes gas is
getting that far but further up. What wood be
my next step???

are you getting power to the spark plugs ? fuel may not be your problem
