96 Chevy not taking gas but will crwnk

I ran my 96 Chevy Blazer 4.3 out of gas . I put
gas in it , it wouldn't start unless I turned key
forward then back 10 15 times it will start
then but when I push gas it bigs down and
will shut off  I have to play with gas to get it
to rev up.. I put c foam in gas and now it is
running alot better but it still want take gas
like it should.. why want it take gas like it
should.

Most likely by running out of gas the fuel pump is damaged. The gasoline flowing through the fuel pump cools and lubricates the pump motor. When you run it dry the fuel pump can be burned out or damaged very quickly. I'd suggest replacing the fuel pump. Hope that helps! Jim

just like the guy above me said. Check your fuel pump, but to check an easier solution before you do that is go ahead and change the fuel filter. Its easier and cheaper. Perharps its clogged.
