700r4 transmission in 1992 s15 jimmy 4x4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission was slipping a bit from 1st to 2nd, it would shift right away if I let off the gas then
step on it again, and it had minor slippage from 3rd to 4th, not never both in the same shift run,
either 1-2 or 3-4, then the next stop and accelerate it would choose again either 1-2 or 3-4. I
make long drives 1500 kilometers twice a month, and there are times I get going up to 140kmh
to 150kmh, then it started puking fluid, at 143 ish and up it would spit some out, slow down and
it would stop, from where I have no idea, top side maybe cause there would be fluid on
everything execpt from the cervo housing forwards and top of bell housing. So today it got mad,
started dropping gears,  I was doing 120 in 4th started to accel and it "skipped" out of 4th, let off
and it would come back, couldnt accelerate only maintain speed, then it gave up on 4th and
started doing that in 3rd, then over the next 5-7 minutes it wouldnt hold 1st long enough to move
but you could feel a bit of an attempt to roll. Now it doesnt matter which position you put the
shifter in it all feels like neutral. BUT if I leave it in a gear, drive, and pull the t-case into neutral
you can feel the gears slowing, like grinding gears in a standard tranny with the clutch
depressed, I can feel the gears slow down untill I slip the t-case in to either high or low, but no
vehicle movement like I have my foot on the clutch still. I would like to get it moving again, by
any means, is there a way to do that? I have a rebuilt trans at home to put in it, this is a one way
trip for this tranny, I dont care if its locked in 1, 2, 3, or 4 and I dont care if it behaves like a
standard trans with no clutch, stall when stop, start in gear, I just need to get it to move again. Is
it possible?
