what is causing my floor on my truck to get so hot when my heater is not on

when i drive the truck for a while it seems like the feet heater is on but it is not
and it will get very hot and i never seen this before so i dont know what it is

my guess, possibly heat shield is missing on catalytic converter, or a exhaust component is too close to the floor pan

Or the blend door to the heater core is not closing all the way and sending heat to the floor vents.

well i just replaced the thermostat on it because of the lack of heat out of the heater and the check engine light is on for the o2 sensor i still gotta do im thinking its probably the cat

All these trucks do this, they bypass heat when the vent selection is off. S10, sonoma, blazer, jimmy and bravada
