My 2006 Buick Rendezvous just started with a small oil leak front driver's side. Mechanic thinks it is a Transmission seal... He says not to worry about it yet...just drive until it gets worse???

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 110,000 miles on car....never drove in winter weather....love it!  Transmission, sporatically, clunks & jerks when taking off from a stop.  It seems like it only does that about once in every 5-6 times of shifting gears.  It's like a cog is broken in the gear (?)...  I found that, when it does this, if I shift the gear to park and back to drive, at the next stop, it runs smooth again for a while.  Had to have Trans. oil flushed & replaced because it was burned.   Runs great otherwise.  Did have to have oxygen sensors replaced.

I would go to a regular transmission shop to have it looked at. Having burnt trany fluid is, was not good. There would only so much life out of the transmission now. I'm surprised it is even working.
