Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just installed a new fuel pump in a 1991 buick with a 3.8 engine. The harness that the pump plugs into only has one hot wire in it which is for the gas gauge. The wire that is suppose to supply power to the pum is dead. I've replace a 30 amp slow burn fuse under the hood and still no power to the pump.

There should be a fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse box. You can swap it with one of the other relays to see if your pump works.
