Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 buick regal  and I need some
help. While going down the road one night it
died the whole car light went out car
stopped running no radio or anything. I got
out and opened the hood. I had just
replaced the battery so I knew that couldn't
be it. I have the wires next to the black
fuse/power box thing a jiggle and the
everything came back on. Went back stared
the car and all was fine. Went down the
road 50 MPh and it did it again. Jiggled it
and it started. It's home now but I won't
drive it because of the problem. What
needs to be replaced?  I'm almost clueless
when it comes to cars.

Check all your battery connections. Sounds like you have a loose or corroded one causing you problems. Also check the negative battery connections to the frame and motor. Look at the wires you jiggled. Close inspections should reveal what needs to be fixed.

The wire seems stripped but they arnt by the battery so I'm not sure I guess o can take it to autozone and see if they have what I need

You seem to have bad or loose wiring, based on your description. Autozone isn't going to be much help in your case. I'd start by checking you have your battery secured by a holddown, and have all the battery cable connections tight. If the battery cables are stretched too tight and have a loose connection, even the slightest movement in the battery could cause it to become disconnected, causing a loss of power.

I'm not sure the battery has anything to do with it it's the wires near the power distribution block

Just an update I took it in and turns out I need a fuse box and the wire that comes with it. Never knew they could cause so many problems. Hey maybe I'll get my turn signals back too. .
