battery light keeps coming on alternator checked ok new battery whats wrong

You may have a bad connection........start at the battery and make certain the terminals are clean and snug....if there are boots over the terminals, inspect inside for corrosion. When you have the battery disconnected, check the connectors at the alternator and also check the alternator bolts, they ground the system. Track the ground wire to wherever it goes and make sure that connection is tight.
