Radiator and cold air

So my car lately has been needing radiator fluid a
lot more.   I had a thermostat problem a year ago
and that was fixed.   It sounded like the engine ran
higher.   After that was fixed that stopped.   Now its
making the noise but it doesnt get hot.   When the
ac coolant is low I dont get hot air.   And when full I
do and the noise goes away.   I

No such thing as AC coolant. It is just coolant. If the car doesn't blow warm air when the coolant level is low, that is a normal condition, and also blows hot air out the vents when it is full. It all comes down to a simple leak somewhere. The cooling system is pressurized, so any leak will effect the system. Find the leak and repair. A shop can pressure test the system with a special tool to find the leak much quicker than you looking around and under the car.
