06 Toyota Sienna- transmission gone bad? Need advice ASAP- stranded

Could this be a transmission issue? We were pulling off
the interstate and suddenly the van would not go. It will
go in reverse but will not go forward. No strange lights are
on. Our van is old and we don’t know if we should trade it
in or fix the transmission if it is a transmission problem.
What does this sound like to you? It is very odd because
we have been keeping up with the maintenance.

Thanks Tom- i was literally slowing down to turn off interstate exit. Stopped to look at cross traffic and then started to press gas again and it just revved. Won’t go, but when I shift in reverse it goes.
