My 2006 Toyota Rav4 keys with FOB were run over. The FOB is broken, but the key still works and I have driven it. When I went to get a copy of the key, the locksmith could not make a copy of the computer chip. He mad a copy of the key that I had and that works also. Should I be concerned that at some point the key won't work or car will stop running with this key?

The fob is for the electric door locks and alarm setting. the key is a "failsafe" backup method the enter the car and of course drive it. So no you should not have any trouble opening doors or turning on the ignition. The biggest problem may be the alarm resetting at some point and having to start the car to cut it off and reset it.
