Cannot Lock/Unlock Mercedes Benz ML 350 using keyless remote

I have a 2007 MB ML350 and I can't unlock any of the doors using the keyless
remote; this used to work quite normally until it stopped one morning. I tried using
the spare key and it wouldn't open it as well. Also tried using the manual key inside
the keyless system and this did not work either. At the moment, I am locked
outside my car.

Anyone who can help please?
