Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced my 97 Suburban 4l60E trans, with 97 Chevy Tahoe 4L60 E. My
problem is that it shifts hard into gear, from park to drive. You can also feel the
shifting from 2nd to 3rd and you drive the vehicle.

I went to AAMCO Transmissons shop and they did a couple codes PO748 Pressure Control Solenoid and also PO785 3-2 Shift Solenoid. They told me that, they don't know for sure if that would cure the shifting problem. However, you did say it would be some kind of Solenoid problem. Do you think that these two Solenoids will fix my issues?

I was wondering if you can replace the pressure control solenoid without removing the valve body? Thanks
